Transparency

Last night I had one of the most enjoyable "girls get-togethers" that I can remember. My new friend and kindred spirit, Jeanne, had about 7 women over for a Moroccan dinner. The food was delicious, the ambiance was fabulous, and the conversation and connection was meaningful and fulfilling. As I drove home, I noticed how energized I was. The full moon shined brightly in the sky and I found myself saying out loud, "thank you", "thank you", "thank you!"

Part of my exhilaration was sparked by the delightful conversations I seemed to have. I found myself opening, speaking my truth, and allowing myself to give and receive. During a delightful and synchronistic conversation with a new friend named Pam, I found myself talking about the importance of TRANSPARENCY. As I spoke to Pam, I was speaking to myself. Through my own words, I was reminding myself of the importance of being real, honest, and transparent. When I take off my masks and allow all of me to be exposed and seen, I give other people permission to do the same... and visa versa. When we operate at this level, we are able to connect more richly, more authentically, and more wholly. By being transparent, we open the door for synchronicity to occur and we invite the magic in. That is what transpired for me last night and I am so very grateful... grateful to have connected with amazing women, grateful for my deepening awareness that we are all one, and grateful for the gift of friendship. Thank you, Jeanne!

  2. such a great reminder about which part of ourselves we bring in to any given moment - or, perhaps it's about the parts we choose to leave out because we don't think it has relevance here. Seems like it's about recognizing that it all goes together - that transparency is a vehicle for integrating us to our whole self. Nice work, JM!
